Currently, there are nearly 500,000 registered suppressors in the US with another estimated 80,000 to be approved this year. NC is one of 40 other states that now allow hunters to use suppressors. That’s right; hunting with a silencer is legal in North Carolina as of October 1, 2013. There are lots of very good silencers being manufactured these days.
